Despite many rave reviews, Bud & Alley's on the Grand Lagoon in Panama City Beach closed its doors Aug. 18 because of "lack of sufficient volume." The Seaside location still is offering "uncompromising quality and service and fresh farm to table and fish to table waterfront dining."

Gulf World loss
Gulf World Marine Park is heartbroken to share the news that the male Rough-toothed Dolphin born June 27 died at 5:30 p.m. July 25. When the mom/calf cooperative nursing failed to occur after birth, they were moved to a rehab pool so the staff could assist with the feeding process and keep 24-hour watch. Preliminary necropsy results show the calf had a pulmonary abscess.
