Gulf Coast Jam

Tickets are on sale for the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam on Sept. 26-28 in Panama City Beach with Toby Keith, Brantley Gilbert, Trace Adkins, Eli Young Band, Kip Moore, The Charlie Daniels Band, X Factor Winner Tate Stevens, Darryl Worley, Blackberry Smoke and more than 30 other acts. The jam will feature music on six stages, including three daytime beach stages and the main headline stage at Frank Brown Park. General Admission tickets, good for all three days, are on sale for $119 and will continue increasing in increments up to $189. Award-winning Author

Panama City-based author Michael Lister received a silver medal in the Florida Book Awards "general fiction" category for his recent mystery, "Blood Sacrifice." This is his second Florida Book Award. He debuts his next noir novel, set in 1940s Panama City, during a party at CityArts and a discussion at the Library.

Pat Benatar In Concert

She's going to hit Panama City with her best shot in just a couple of weeks. Tickets are on sale for a Marina Civic Center concert by Pat Benatar, touring with full band led on guitar by her husband, Neil Giraldo. BAYBREEZE CONCERT SERIES: 6:30-9 p.m. third Thursdays May through October at the Downtown Panama City Marina. Admission is free to all concerts and activities, from a bounce house for children to wine samples by Seabreeze Winery for adults. Lawn chairs and coolers are welcome.
